High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound delivers energy to precise depths beneath the skin — including the SMAS, the fibromuscular layer a surgeon tightens during a facelift. Each focal point causes a small, controlled coagulation that the body responds to by contracting tissue and laying down new collagen over the months that follow.
Nothing is cut and the surface is untouched, so there is no downtime. The trade-off is that the result is gradual and moderate: HIFU firms and lifts, but it does not replicate surgery. We assess your degree of laxity honestly before recommending it.

Common questions
It is often marketed that way, and we would rather be precise: HIFU tightens the same layer a facelift addresses, but the degree of change is moderate. If you have significant laxity, HIFU will disappoint you and we will say so.
There is sometimes an immediate tightening, but the real change comes from new collagen and builds from six weeks to six months.
