Skin Treatments
Acne Scar Treatment
Scar-type-specific treatment combining resurfacing, subcision and collagen stimulation.
- Duration
- 75 minutes
- Downtime
- 3–7 days depending on the techniques used.
- Results
- Progressive over 3–6 months as collagen remodels.
- Sessions
- A course of 4–6 sessions

Acne scars are not all the same. Rolling, boxcar and ice-pick scars each respond to different techniques, and most patients have a mixture. Treating them all with a single modality is the most common reason results disappoint.
Assessment maps the scar types present, and a plan combines the appropriate techniques — which may include microneedling, subcision, resurfacing or filler. Active acne must be controlled first. Improvement is realistic; complete erasure is not, and we will be direct with you about the likely extent.
Benefits
- Scar types mapped and treated individually
- Combination approach rather than one modality

Common questions
Realistic improvement is achievable, often substantial, but complete removal is not. We will tell you at consultation what degree of improvement is likely for your particular scar types.
